Successful upgrade and replacement of complete DC Variable Speed Drive and Propulsion Control Package

Successful design, delivery and mobilisation of innovative Cable Handling Control System for DeepOcean’s Maersk Recorder.

MJR safely and successfully completed a large scale mobilisation project for McDermott.

During 2008 we were contracted by Tekmar Subsea to provide a turnkey electrical design, build, outfit and mobilisation package for a Multi Purpose Handling System (MPHS) for Acergy.

When she was delivered from the Kawasaki Heavy Industries Shipbuilding & Engine Works in Nagasaki in 1995, NYK Vega (now MSC Messina) was one of the largest container vessels afloat.

For the past ten years we have been heavily involved in the construction, testing and mobilisation of a wide range of offshore construction and subsea equipment.

Maersk Responder was delivered in 2000 as a Cable Installation Vessel and later converted to a Multipurpose Offshore Construction Vessel.

Since 2006, we have been contracted by our client to oversee the design, construction, delivery into service and initial project mobilization of two offshore construction vessels.

Stena Lines ‘Stena Seatrader’ underwent a large life extension project in 2007/8 during which we designed, replaced, modified and overhauled most of the vessel’s essential electrical and automation systems.

Over a two year period we have upgraded the complete Integrated Automation System on Stena Lines ‘Stena Caledonia’ in several stages.

In cooperation with our Portuguese agents, we recently completed a complex but very successful Power Management System retrofit for the Portuguese Navy.

The Statoil Kristin Project in 2004 (carried out by Technip Norge AS) required laying of 10″ subsea pipe with simultaneous attachment of a piggyback direct electrical heating (DEH) cable onto the pipe during the lay operation.
