MJR Power & Automation have successfully replaced obsolete Terasaki MCCB & ACB’s with the new ABB marine certified EMAX2 and XT range across twelve ferries.
MJR Power & Automation have completed the retrofit of new ABB Emax2 ACB’s and XT MCCB ranges on 12 of the CalMac ferries as part of their resilience program across their fleet. During the September to March scheduled docking period, MJR Power & Automation’s Installation team removed the existing obsolete Terasaki breakers, modified busbars and installed new ABB ACB and MCCB breakers for main emergency, power and distribution boards including set-up and commission.
MJR Power & Automation provided the turnkey solution from design, engineering, modification, installation and commissioning of all new replacement breakers.
